Home, Somehow

A man and a woman stand at the window of a modest wooden house. They neither acknowledge the camera nor seek the viewer's attention. Framed by the weathered façade, they seem suspended in a moment that belongs only to them.
Photographed in the province of Matanzas, Cuba, the image gradually moves beyond its documentary origins. The window becomes more than an architectural opening; it is the quiet threshold between an intimate world and everything that lies beyond it.
Home, Somehow does not attempt to define what home is. It simply leaves open the possibility that some places never stop becoming home.
